Halstead is contracted exclusively with Nisly Brothers Inc. +
Trash service includes one cart.
Pick up is every Thursday. (see calendar for exceptions)
Carts need to be at curb no later than at 6:00am!
Call City Hall if your cart is damaged and needs replaced.
Items next to cart or on top of cart will NOT get picked up.
Residents that are 65 or older can sign up for a discount on refuse.
Discount only applies to 1st cart. Form is below.
Additional carts are available for $6.50/month.

Recycling
Recycling is an optional service available for all residents in Halstead.
Residents must set this service up through Nisly Brothers Inc.
Pick-up is every other Thursday (see calendar for exceptions).
Reserve-A-Dumpster Program
This FREE program is available to residential customers ONLY.
The dumpster is 6 feet square, has 2 plastic lids and holds about as much as 12 residential carts.
How to Reserve-A-Dumpster
Fill out a waiver and turn it into City Hall. (Waivers available at City Hall or by clicking the "Reserve Now" button below)
There are only three containers in rotation each week. - Call for availability
Space must be available for the container to be placed by the curb, on the street, in front of your house.
Containers will be delivered on Fridays between 7:00am and 5:00pm and picked up the following Friday. (Saturday if there is a holiday that week)
