How Do I
Yearly registration is required for all dogs, cats, chickens, & domesticated ducks.
The pet registration year is from May 1st through April 30th.
Open registration begins March 1st .
A $5 late fee is applied per pet after June 1st.
New residents have 30 days to register their animals.
Rules & Restrictions
⇨ Residents must register all dogs & cats over the age of 6 months.
⇨ There is a limit of up to 3 dogs & up to 3 cats (over 6 months old) per household. Households with more than this may apply for a Kennel License (see below).

⇨ Registration is done in-person at City Hall.
⇨ Bring a copy of your pet's proof of rabies vaccination.
Prices
⇨ Unaltered Dogs/Cats: $10
⇨ Spayed/Neutered Dogs/Cats: $4
Rules & Restrictions
⇨ Residents must register all chickens & domesticated ducks.
⇨ There is a limit of up to 12 domesticated fowl per household.
⇨ Roosters are strictly prohibited.
⇨They must have a shelter that is maintained properly.

⇨ The first year you register you must acquire signatures from a majority of your neighbors that live within 200ft of your coop consenting to the domesticated fowl shelter.
⇨ A yearly inspection is done of your coop to ensure proper shelter.

Rules & Restrictions
⇨ Residents that own more than 3 dogs or 3 cats over the age of 6 months must first obtain a Kennel License.
⇨ Residents that engage in the commercial business of breeding, training, or boarding of cats and/or dogs must first obtain a Kennel License.
⇨ Kennels must be properly maintained and provide adequate shelter.
