From Hertzler Road & Hwy 50 drive a mile north, turn east on 1st St., and then go a mile and a half.

2023 WEDGEWOOD GOLF COURSE RATES
Membership

•  Individual Membership = $420
   ------> Add 2nd Family Member (must live in the same household) = $170
   ------> Each Additional Family Member (must live in the same household) = $80
• Family Membership (2 adults & 2 kids and $40.00 per additional child) = $700
•  Senior Membership (Age:62 and older) = $390
•  Junior Membership (Highschool & younger) = $120
   ------> Juniors on a high school golf team that plays at Wedgewood (Halstead, Burrton, or Sedgwick) = $165
• Yearly Trail Fee (Bring own cart) = $100

Green Fees

•  9 Holes = $16
•  18 Holes = $18
•  League Fee: Includes Cart Fee and 9 holes = $70
•  Punch Cards: 10 punches = $124
   ------> 1 punch=9 holes (1 punch + $2 = 18 holes)
**Military Discount - $3 off Green Fees (Must show valid military ID.)**

Cart Rental

•  9 Holes (per person) = $7
•  8 Holes (per person) = $11
•  Cart Shed Storage/Year = $250

Wedgewood Golf Course History

       What started out as a sand green course in 1935 was transformed into the beautiful course that can be enjoyed today. 

January 1984 - Mr. Robert Koehn won $50.00 in a contest to name the new course and it became Wedgewood Public Golf Course. 

April 2, 1984 - A construction and engineering contract was signed.

May 2, 1984 - Transfer of land was completed and construction began.

May 8, 1984 - The Halstead Golf Club, Inc. presented the deed to the City of Halstead.

July 10, 1984 - The well was drilled and the process began to fill the lake.

September 11, 1984 - A new irrigation system was nearly done and the fencing was completed. 

October 9, 1984 - Seeding was completed on the greens.  

May 25, 1985 - Wedgewood Public Golf Course had its grand opening!  It quickly gained popularity and for the first men's league on June 6th they hosted 42 men!

2019-2020 - Wedgewood underwent major renovations to the Club House
